| I was in Vancouver for 5 nights, and I was especially glad to have booked at the Carmana Plaza I basically had a onebedroom apartment! With the Urban Fare grocery store across the street (kind of like Whole Foods in the US) I was able to buy breakfast and even a few dinners when I was too tired to go out. It's nice to feel a little less like a hotel guest and more like a local; in fact, the higher level floors are apartments, and the residents with whom I shared hotel rides were quite friendly. The suite was wellequipped, clean, a good size, and I had a view I could even see the snowcapped mountains past the city.
I got my yoga clothes at Target. Stretchy pants, a "yoga tank" and a sports bra. No shoes or socks. What types of clothes do you wear the most? that I am running kids around all day, I spend most of my days in casual clothes jeans, sweaters, cute boots or flats. I live in my Uggs when the weather is cold. Useful wardrobe item: clothes! I love Lululemon workout wear it is functional but can also look cute if I have to run an errand or take my children somewhere after the gym.
One example of creating a great retail store with low TI was the holiday popup shop in at Westfield San Francisco Centre in December. Local designers were able to set up their store in the space that was already built out with fixtures, lighting, wifi, etc. And only required the brand to spend money on a few temporary racks and sign decals for the front of the store..
